Please join Karyn as she rings in another youthful year!
$100 donation includes Hors D’oeuvres, beer, wine, cash bar, live music and a silent auction at Chicago's stylish, chic, and yes, deliciously vegan restaurant, Karyn's on Green. Celebration begins at 6pm; program begins at 7:15pm.
Karyn's birthday will honor her late and beloved son Dino, with proceeds benefiting Safe Humane Chicago (http://safehumanechicago.org) and Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation (http://chicagocaninerescue.org).
Safe Humane Chicago’s mission is to create safe and humane communities by inspiring positive relationships between people and animals. Safe Humane Chicago accomplishes this mission through community-based programs, including opportunities for at-risk youth and at-risk dogs to help one another.
Chicago Canine Rescue was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. Chicago Canine Rescue assists the dogs that are the MOST vulnerable in our city and throughout the midwest; those dogs that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, too injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.

Great news! With this first annual event celebrating Karyn's birthday, we are establishing Karyn's Fund for At-Risk Youth and Dogs in Honor of Dino Calabrese. The fund will memorialize her late son Dino's love for orphaned dogs and the calm and connection he felt with dogs. It will provide needed programming funds for at-risk boys and at-risk dogs. Thank you for being an inaugural supporter!
